Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - In a meeting with the head of Iranian seminaries Ayatollah Arafi and the officials and seminary students attending the closing ceremony of the 5th scientific Olympiad of Islamic seminaries, Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani said, "Since the foundation of the seminary, it has been able to train many scholars in various ethical, political and cultural areas, and those scholars trained by the seminary have been able to serve Islam and the Islamic society in a great way."
Stating that Shia jurisprudence is very special and no other religion has such a jurisprudence, the revered source of emulation said, "The reason for its superiority is that it leads human beings to God."
His Eminence asserted, "Throughout the history of the seminary and Islamic community, there have been many prominent scholars who endeavored for the revival of the divine cause and promotion of Islam and its epistemic and ethical foundations."
